Dubai Marina is a city-within-a city, possibly the world’s most exclusive waterfront development, where a stylish, sophisticated lifestyle has been created to delight its residents. Strategically located near Interchange 5 on Sheikh Zayed Road, the Marina is ideally located for easy access to the Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai International Airport, Dubai Internet City and Dubai Media City, and some of Dubai’s finest five-star hotels.

Infinity’s prime location at the entrance to the Dubai Marina reflects the prestige and status of the building and its residents. Positioned with the sea as a backdrop, Infinity gradually rotates 90 degrees to provide excellent views for all its residents, while preserving the views for residents of neighbouring buildings.
At 330 metres in height, Infinity is the highest twisting tower in the world. But remarkable though this unique achievement is, it’s just one of the features that makes Infinity so extraordinary.
Designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill, the international award-winning architectural firm, the building is a masterpiece of contemporary design and style. The architects have used open-space architectural concepts to ensure that there are no pillars anywhere in the building, creating a true sense of space and light.
Pre-finished titanium metal panels on cast-in-place concrete perimeter columns along with repetitive staggered screen panels filter the direct sunlight to the units. An inboard glass line creates a deep sill to minimize direct light and provide a screen effect, shading both glass and terraces.
Infinity’s slender elegance conceals great strength: the tower’s structural system for the tower is a high strength, reinforced concrete column superstructure that rotates with the twisting shape to create a helix.
The shape and size of these columns is determined by wind tunnel testing and innovative engineering using 3D computer modeling analysis. At all times, in creating such a unique and radical architectural project, safety and stability has been the architects’ primary concern, both in design and in the quality of materials and construction. Every stage of the Infinity project has harnessed the skills and experience of world-class professionals in every field.
Every Infinity apartment enjoys contemporary internationally styled interiors, marble and wood finishes, and premium fixtures and fittings. Every apartment has fully fitted kitchens with appliances from such leading brands such as Bosch or Siemens, bedrooms with built-in wardrobes, as well as high-speed Internet facility and access to digital/satellite TV, state-of-the-art air conditioning, and a comprehensive automation system to control lights, air-conditioning and other functions from a central handset. The building has 7 elevators, for convenient access to each floor.

New 80-storey Infinity tower launched
Infinity Tower, which will stand 80 stories high, is anticipated to be a dominant feature on Dubai Marina’s landscape. Towering above its neighbours, Infinity at 330 meters will be distinct not only for its height but primarily for its architectural prowess – it will be the world’s tallest tower to feature a 90 degree twist, a masterpiece of contemporary style and spiraling design.

A lot of time and effort has been invested by all parties in getting to this stage, with several strategic meetings throughout last year in both Chicago, the home of Skidmore Owings and Merril (SOM) our architects and Dubai. Many developers have contributed to Dubai’s fast growing skyline but Infinity will be a true first for the region.”
The architectural landmark, for which piling and foundation work has already begun, will be dedicated to the luxury residential apartments, lofts and penthouses. Cayan are acting as the real estate developer for the project with sister company Palma Real Estate responsible for the sales and marketing function.
Located opposite Grosvenor House and at the beginning of the Dubai Marina, Infinity will boast one of Dubai Marina’s most sought after locations. Whichever side of the building; the unique design will afford each apartment a staggering view of Palm Island, the Arabian Gulf, and or the Marina.

To achieve such a complex and unusual design Skidmore Owings and Merril (SOM) were chosen as architectural partners. World renowned and dedicated to standards of excellence, the company has worked on many global landmark projects including the much hyped Burj Dubai. Whilst creating such a radical and technically advanced design, SOM have placed a huge emphasis on safety and stability. The structural system for the tower is high strength with a reinforced concrete column superstructure that rotates with the twisting shape to create a helix. In addition each floor will accommodate a 1.2 degree twist to achieve the full 90 degree spiral.
