Legends, also known as Arabian Legends and Legends-Dubailand, is a mixed-use entertainment development project being built in Dubailand. The AED 14 billion (US$ 3.8 billion) project will occupy 24.7 million square feet (2.3 million square meters) and will be located along Dubai's Emirates Road opposite to the Global Village and was conceived to be the single largest destination for family-oriented, leisure, and entertainment tourism in the Middle East.

Legends Dubai will comprise of three world-class, climate controlled indoor theme parks (Legends of Arabia, Legends of Nature, Legends of the World), residential developments (Living Legends), themed hotels (Legends Iconic Tower Hotel, Arabian Hotel, Caribbean Hotel, Medieval Hotel), 5 hotel apartments towers, a 9-hole golf course (Golfing Legends), entertainment and shopping area (Legends Leisure Complex), and business developments (Trade Legends containing 5 commercial towers).

Living Legends
Living Legends is the residential area of the Legends project and is being developed by Saudi-based Tanmiyat Investment Group, consisting of Arabian themed 500 villas and 12 residential towers. The villas will surround the golf course with 50 of them being 5-bedroom deluxe, 200 being 4-bedroom and 150 being 5-bedroom villas. The towers will consist of a total of 1,800 units as studio, 2, 3 and 4-bedroom apartments and penthouses, as well as being located between the villas and the entertainment and shopping area.

Legends-Dubailand was announced at Citscape 2004 by Bahrain-based investment bank, Gulf Finance House B.S.C (GFH) and the project is being supported by Edifice (design and project management), Jean-Michel Ruols (architects), and Gulf Leisure and Entertainment Newtork Corporation (theme park operator). Legends of Arabia is expected to be completed by 2008.

At the core of the project, which comprises of six main components - are three world-class theme parks, which together will constitute the largest indoor theme park in the world. The three theme parks at Legends-Dubailand are Legends of Arabia, Legends of Nature and Legends of the World – all of which are inspired by the magic of mythology, natural wonders, and sensational places on the planet.

The Legends Leisure Complex is envisaged as a vibrant mixed destination for family entertainment complete with innovative retail concepts within a themed environment. Further the development will also feature four themed hotels, three of which will be based on Arabian, Carribean and Medivial concepts respectively. Apartment complexes will envelope this destination.

Legends-Dubailand will also feature a golf course which will split this energy-bustling atmosphere from the tranquil residential component of the project - Living Legends –comprising of independent and semi-detached villas.

The final component of the project - Trade Legends - will further offer offices, while featuring a covered arcade that envelopes all the various elements. Legends components include three world-class, climate-controlled theme parks spread across 24.7 million square feet. – Legends of Arabia, the first component to be operational by 2008, will offer an immersive experience to visitors blending fantasy and fables of yesteryears with superior technological brilliance. Legends of Nature and Legends of World are inspired by the magic and magnificent places on the planet of mythology & natural wonders. Uniquely, it provides turnkey services from project themeing and ride conceptualization to the design and layout of attractions, technical specifications and actual operations. As operator of many family Entertainment Centres in Asia and the Middle East, Glenn Figueroa, the founder of GLEN Corp. has 25 years of hands-on experience in the development and operations of various entertainment projects.The residential villas are considered one of the basic support elements of the project that ensure a distinguished and innovative environment.
