Gold Crest Tower is prominently located on the waterfront of the prestigious Jumeirah Lakes Development in Dubai. The design responds to the Client's brief for an exclusive building which will focus on the development's theme of delivering an elite and luxurious, resort-based lifestyle.
The design comprises a 41-storey tower above a podium deck combined with three basement levels below ground. The dramatic visual and spatial forms adopted have combined with an aesthetic composition to provide a contemporary style embodied in the simple balanced proportions of the building.
Externally, the strength of the design concept emanates from the two tapering fin elements which curve in two directions. The fins form the boundary of the building at the lower level and provide support and strength for the residential blocks. A careful incorporation of colour, shadow, texture and materials has been employed to provide a rich balance of composition which is enhanced by the clean horizontal lines of the residential balconies.
Internally, the generously planned apartments are designed around a rectangular core offering maximum views to the surrounding Lakeside from spacious balconies.
The tower comprises a total of 376 apartments on 37 residential floors together with a first floor level health club, two service floors and a mechanical floor at roof level.
