The State of Qatar is one of the Gulf countries, located on the northeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula surrounded by the water, except for its southern borders with Saudi Arabia and covering an area of 11,437 square kilometers (4,416 square meters). Foreign ownership of property in Qatar was granted on June 6th 2004 and is limited to designated developments, while property owners and their family will get a permanent residency visa.
